Introducing SNMtrac™ Version 7

With version 7, Standish Technologies will complete the transition of SNMtrac™ from a basic isotopic database and NMMSS reporting tool into an extremely powerful and flexible data and reporting program for any information related to your facilities operations.

New Program Features

·    User has the capability to create “Calculated Fields”.  These are fields in the SNMtrac™ database whose values are created using a formula consisting of arithmetic operators, special functions, constants and other optional database fields.  The calculated field will be automatically updated when any field or fields used in the calculation is updated.  Combining this feature with new built in functions like Decay Heat, the program can be used to perform sophisticated Dry Cask Storage planning calculations.

·    Calculations can be saved as part of a query.

·    The program now has a new “Update Wizard”.  With this function, the user describes a sequence of actual events that will be used to automatically update the database (i.e. receipt of new fuel, fuel movements, date when the reactor was shutdown, etc.).

·    The program has a new automatic report creation feature that will create all NMMSS reports with certain default values described by the user.

·    A new Update / Restore screen allows the user to create “snapshots” of the database at any point in time and restore the program data to any snapshot point.

·    An upgraded “Reconstitution Wizard” that maintains and displays a material balance as the user makes changes.  The program will not allow the user to exit this function with an unbalanced inventory.

·    All manual updates, including fuel transfers, can now be done using an Excel spreadsheet as well as a greatly improved Manual Update screen, each with full limit checking and logging capabilities.

·    Dozens of other program improvements both large and small.
